Nicole Schreyer

Growing up in Germany, Nicole was always fascinated by motorcycles. However, without close friends or family on two wheels, it wasn't until she turned 16 and got her license that her motorcycling career began. Her first bike was a Honda MTX80. Soon enough she upgraded to a Suzuki DR500 and finally settled on a Kawasaki KLR650. Nicole spent her teens and twenties riding the best roads in Germany, Northern Italy, Southern France, the Alps, Pyrenees, around Paris, and the Netherlands.

After spending her twenties travelling, finishing university, and starting her career, Nicole sold her KLR and moved to Canada for a two-year stint. As life tends to go, two years turned into twenty and, still in Canada with grown kids off to university, she decided to restart her motorcycling passion.

In 2018 Nicole found a used KLR650 and couldn't resist - she bought it on a whim and threw herself back into biking. Nicole's first off-road experience was at the Rally Connex Fall Colour Ride in 2020, and she knew right away, that she wanted to explore more of the gravel and off-road side of riding.

The following summer Nicole joined Canada Rides on a one-week adventure/off-road tour and
volunteered for the Dacre event later that summer. The energy, enthusiasm, and camaraderie of the event were infectious and even without being a participant, it was an amazing experience. The Fall Colour Ride followed soon afterwards, and Nicole also spent a day with Lee Martin, working on her off-road riding skills. At the end of the 2021 riding season Nicole picked up a Yamaha WR250R and now has the ideal bike for future off-road adventures.

As a new member to the Rally Connex team, Nicole can't wait to get out there and participate in a great organization with folks who share her passion for motorcycles.
